Mike and Simon were very happy to spend time with one of their heroes - Sir David Jason! During their chat Sir David was very keen to hear about PiE's work with young people and regaled them with stories of how drama reached him as a young person.
PiE meets double Olympic champion!
Performance in Education was delighted to spend the day with Cadbury
promoting the 2012 Olympics. Staging penalty shoot-outs, space-hopper
racing and wellie wanging with over 300 guests we were thrilled to meet
double Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington at Ascot Racecourse.
If the Olympic committee decide to include any of these in the 2012 games
we are waiting for our Nation’s call...
National Training Awards - Youth Arson
Champagne corks were popping again as Simon and Mike were delighted to join South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service at Leeds Town Hall for the Yorkshire and Humber Region National Training Awards Ceremony. They were delighted to share in a Regional Training Award for their work to reduce Youth Arson in 2008.
Mike and Simon were equally thrilled to share this success with SYFR when their Regional Award was surpassed by a This is the highest accolade in training and learning and recognises a partnership that has made a significant difference to community safety througout South Yorkshire.
