Simon Fallon

Education Manager

Simon graduated from Bretton Hall College, University of Leeds, in 1998 with a BA Hons in Dramatic Arts. After graduating he worked as a TiE actor for a number of years delivering performances and workshops on a variety of issues that PiE still tackle today.

Due to his enjoyment of working with young people he took a full time position at Shotton Hall school as an actor in residence. During his years in role he delivered drama to both primary and secondary school students and helped the school to achieve Arts Mark Gold status.

This led to him training to become a Drama and English teacher at Sunderland University. As a qualified teacher Simon taught year 7 - 13 and had responsibility for delivering PSHE curriculum.

Simon left teaching to return to CragRats as the Education Manager. Here he worked with the creative team, headed by Mike Ingham, as market leaders on a wide variety of projects including Road Safety, Youth Arson, Substance Misuse, Enterprise, Raising Achievement and Aimhigher.

When CragRats went into administration in 2009 Simon and Mike started Performance in Education to continue their award winning partnership. They continue to deliver high quality Theatre in Education and improve their offering to clients, schools and students year on year.
